Asian America Founders

Founders and principal producers are two Korean-born sisters
Hwi-Sook Taylor and Jung Sook Koh;
both are educated in South Kora and the United States.

Hwi-Sook Taylor, a business woman in marketing and management, was in 1996 honored by New York City for "Excellence, Leadership and Commitment in Asian American Community" and listed as one of "500 Most Influential Asian Americans". In 1998 she was profiled by WNBC-TV Channel 4 during the month of Asian Pacific Heritage for her outstanding community service. In 2002 New York State Governor
George Pataki awarded her for her achievements both in business and community services.

Jung Sook Koh, as an astute observer of Asian politics, has been a marketing and PR consultant for South Korean corporations for number of years undertaking marketing strategy in emerging martkets, including former Soviet Union, former Eastern European countries, China and North Korea. She also served UNICEF, Organizing Committees of Asian Games of '86 Seoul' & '90 Beijing asian games, '88 S-Korea Olympic Committee, US Soccer Federation, South & North Korean Sports Ministries dealing special events in soccer & cycling, Sports division of Xinhua News Agency in China, and several not-for-profit organizations. In abroad she has been been recognized for her contributions in sports & culture promotion by various governments' authorities. She has also been acknowledged by both South and North Korean NGOs' for her contributions towards the mobilization of humanitarian relief aids. In New York she was awarded in 2002 by New York State Governor George Pataki for her business and community service. In 2003 during the month of Asian Pacific Heritage month, she was profiled on WNBC-TV Ch 4 for her outstanding community service.
